I am making this entry to make ya all understand the importance of blogging. For, blogging is not just about writing what you wanna but it’s also about generating organic traffic and eventually cold cash in long run.

If you are an amateur or expert in any field or know something or have something which you think others may be interested in. For instance, you may be a good cook, or a guitarist, or a programmer, or an insurance agent, or numismatist. The point is, if you know something, why keep it to yourself? Share your knowledge. Not only among your friends, make it available to all through blogs or simple webpages. Now, you must be wondering why waste time in making websites and blogging online, when you already have better things to do. Sure, you do have better things to do but take a look at this scenario. My friend Ed makes awesome pancakes and his customers loves him. Still he is not content with the money his boss pays him at the Diner. So, he comes to me with his problem. I told him about the magic of blogging. Initially, he laughed at me saying “how can I make a website and blog on it, I can only make pancakes”. I asked him “you use facebook, right?” He said “yea, I am always on it even while making pancakes”. I said “your problem is solved, just as you type and do drag and drop on facebook, you can do it on the site I am giving you, and you can let the whole world know about how good your pancakes are and share you technique.”
Soon, he got his customers to check his website and comment on his techniques and experience on how he made pancakes. If you’re not rookie on the web then you know the speed with which anything hot goes viral on the web. Ed started getting calls from his website visitors. He even started posting his cooking videos and hence his website popularity rose. Then I advised him to get his website optimized for certain keywords, which people often type in google. Eventually, his site started getting several more hits daily. Then, he was in a perfect position to strategically place advertisements and generate revenue.
This is precisely one of the way how Facebook generates revenue. So, why are you still waiting for Christmas?
